English and Western Riding Lessons

Our lesson coach is Terri Lynch-Lorint. Terri is a certified Ontario Equestrian Federation Instructor. She will be offering both English and Western lessons here at Pinto Valley Ranch. Terri is a knowledgeable teacher and has a lot of experience in the horse world.

If you want to take casual lessons and get more familiar riding on a trail for pleasure or if you would like to start barrel racing or jumping then give us a call 613-623-3439.

Our goal is to have a safe and fun filled learning environment for adults and children. We would like our students to learn about the body language of the horse and horsemanship will play a big part in our programs. If you are a nervous rider or have a nervous horse we can help. Give us a call and we can customize a program that is right for you. Outdoor trail lessons are available as well.

  • 1 hour Private lesson $48.67 + Tax 6.33 = $55.00 per lesson or get a deal by purchasing 4 lessons for $180.00 + Tax $23.40 = $203.40
  • 1 hour Semi Private max 3 people - $44.25 + Tax $5.75 = $50.00 or get a deal by purchasing 4 lessons for (two riders) $159.30 + tax $20.70 = $180.80
  • 1 hour Group lesson $40.00 + HST $5.20 = $45.20 or get a deal by purchasing 4 lessons for $145.00 + HST $18.85 = $163.85 (three or more riders)

BOARDER RATES FOR LESSONS

Outdoor board - $300.00 + HST per month

1 hour private lesson $40 + HST

1 hour semi Private $35.00 + HST Group $30.00 + HST

About Terri Lynch-Lorint (Lesson Coach)

Terri LorintTerri Lorint is an Ontario Equestrian Federation certified riding instructor and Rider Level 8. She has many years of experience working with horses and teaching lessons. Terri graduated from Kemptville College Agriculture with Equine Option and Coaching Program. She has worked with several accomplished professionals in the horse industry including a former Olympic coach.

Terri has been involved in hunter, jumper, eventing, dressage, western riding, trail riding, Pony Club and 4H. She also enjoys teaching students about horsemanship, and stable management. Her passion for horses and teaching helps inspire her students and their horse develop the skills and confidence they need.
